Contractor Group Elects BASF’s Doyle President
Jim Doyle, district sales manager of BASF’s Wall Systems business for the Southeast, was elected president of the Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association. BASF’s portfolio ranges from chemicals to oil and gas.
Garlock Acquires One-Up Pump Diaphragm
Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC acquired the One-Up Pump Diaphragm business from W. L. Gore & Associates Inc. The acquisition enables GTS to expand its diaphragm pump market. One-Up’s manufacturing business will relocate to GST’s facility in Palmyra, N.Y.
OPW Launches Shale Oil & Gas Website
OPW Fluid Transfer Group launched the website, www.opwshaleoil.com, dedicated to the shale oil and gas market. The site includes product offerings, applications and additional resources and educational materials.
Atlas Opens Florida Store, Names Representative
Atlas Copco opened its 13th U.S. store in Pompano Beach, Fla. The store will carry the full line of Secoroc rock drilling tools, surface crawler drill bits and geotechnical drilling tools and accessories. Jeff Dolezal, named area salesperson for specific product lines for Atlas Copco Construction Mining Technique USA LLC in South Florida and parts of the Caribbean, will be based out of the Miami-area store. Atlas Copco SAE also acquired Grupo Electrogenos Gesan S.A. of Spain, manufacturer of diesel and petrol generators, while Atlas Copco Construction & Mining stores in the United States launched localized websites that focus on products, special offers, news and events that pertain to the customers and region the store serves.

Employees, suppliers, customers, family and friends of Peerless Pump Co. raised more than $60,000 for Riley Hospital’s camp for children at the 12th Annual Camp Riley Golf Outing.
Thompson Pumps Names Regional Representatives
Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Co. Inc. named Gajeske Inc., Best Line Equipment and Power Equipment Co. as regional sales, rental and service representatives. Gajeske has locations across Texas, Best Line is headquartered in State College, Pa., and Power Equipment has locations in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.

Advanced Waste Services Inc. named Anthony Cialella vice president of Energy Services. Based at the company’s New Castle, Pa., facility, he will focus on the recycling growth opportunities within the Marcellus and Utica Shale Plays.
Wisconsin Family Wins Use of Skid-Loader
Brian and Laura Leiby of Dorchester, Wis., won free use of a Gehl model 5640E skid-loader for three months or 150 hours. The couple, who work a 450-acre farm, registered for the giveaway at the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days booth.
