Footwear brand brings unique sales promotion to retail partners nationwide

This fall KEEN Utility will introduce the Tacoma Series, a collection of boots that feature rugged details and unique performance enhancements that not only stand up to the task at hand, but step right over it.

Built for the toughest of working environments, the nonmetallic collection blends durable construction and innovative materials with the comfort, quality and fit KEEN Utility is known for. The Tacoma will be promoted heavily at retail locations and on social media and highlighted by a monthlong national promotion awarding one lucky customer with a new TOYOTA Tacoma truck.

KEEN Utility’s Tacoma Series features the Tacoma XT CSA, a heavy-duty, nonmetallic safety boot featuring asymmetrical composite toes, puncture-resistant midsole plate and barnyard-proof leather that resists the damaging effects of oleic acid, urea, sodium chloride and ammonium hydroxide, extending the life of the boot and boosting performance in the messiest or most caustic environments. The Tacoma WP delivers rugged and durable performance featuring a Goodyear Welt construction, asymmetrical composite safety toes and durable design details.

“The Tacoma XT CSA is a game-changing introduction for us,” says Chris Heffernan, general manager of KEEN Utility. “We set out to create a promotion that would give high visibility to such an innovative line while supporting our retailers and driving traffic to their stores.”

The national promotion will take place throughout the month of October 2016 with customers entered to win with every pair of Tacoma boots they try on. A winner will be announced on Nov. 15 and invited to a celebration at KEEN headquarters in Portland, Oregon, where they will drive off in their new truck.

The Tacoma Series is available in stores this July. The Tacoma Truck promotion can be found at participating retailers starting in October 2016. For more information and to view the entire line of progressive work footwear, visit
