Overview: Here are five big reasons to consider attending the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International in Louisville

It’s not often that I get to introduce someone to the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International. As an editor at COLE Publishing, most readers of our trade publications are well acquainted with the largest trade show in the world covering wastewater and environmental services industries.

In fact, most readers of COLE Publishing magazines are as or more intimately connected to the Pumper & Cleaner Expo than I am. While I’ve had the good fortune of going to seven Expos, a number of liquid waste, industrial cleaning, maintenance and other site services contractors have attended all 30 of the shows, dating back to 1981.

If they’ve attended the Expo in the past, they understand its value to their businesses, and you can count on most of them returning to Louisville March 2-5 for the 2011 show. There’s not a lot of information I need to convey to Expo veterans to help them make up their minds about attending. They’ve already made travel plans and I’ll be visiting with them shortly.

So as we prepared to launch Gas, Oil & Mining Contractor last month, I was relishing the opportunity to spread the good news about the Pumper & Cleaner Expo to a whole new audience. Nothing gives me more pleasure than telling potential Expo visitors about what I view as the single most important networking event in several related environmental support services business sectors.

THE BIG SHOW

The Expo annually attracts 12,000 attendees from more than 4,000 U.S. and international companies serving a variety of industries. It is the world’s largest trade show for environmental services professionals and is ranked the 75th largest trade show in the U.S. by Tradeshow Week magazine. This year’s show is being held in Louisville at the Kentucky Exposition Center, one of the largest venues in the United States.

Depending on the type of services you provide to mining or energy exploration companies, the Expo may be the perfect vehicle to hook you up with products and services to drive your company’s profits for years to come. Among the approximate 500 exhibiting companies are the reputable providers of vacuum service trucks, industrial vacuum loading equipment, industrial cleaning products, dewatering technologies and portable sanitation equipment.

And there’s so much more. Exhibitors offer technology and software to help you run your business, business insurances, financing, safety equipment; an ever-widening array of products to help your business succeed.
